Palm Tungsten T

Palm Tungsten T Overview

Palm Tungsten T

There are three different Palm Tungsten models. The Tungsten T, Tungsten C, and Tungsten W. This review is for the Palm Tungsten T. The Tungsten C and Tungsten W are addressed in separate reviews.

The Palm Tungsten T seems to be a real hit for Palm. This model has some nice features that allow it to compete with the Sony Clies, and the Tungsten T has gotten some great reviews. The Tungsten T is a high-end PDA/expensive toy. This was also one of the first models to showcase the Palm OS 5.0.

The Tungsten T gives you multimedia capabilities with a photo viewer, voice recorder, and MP3 player. Additionally, you can use the Tungsten T for email and web browsing. However, these require a subscription with an ISP.

Palm Tungsten T Ratings

The Palm Tungsten T has received rave reviews from professional reviewers as well as people who have bought one. In fact, the Tungsten T is one of the highest rated PDAs around. Of 2,753 votes on one web site, 94% recommended the Palm Tungsten T. That's truly outstanding.

Professional Ratings: 8.2 out of 10 (3 reviews)

User Ratings: 8.8 out of 10 (105 reviews)

As you can see, the Tungsten T has few detractors. The only real complaint lodged against the Tungsten T is that it is too expensive. But this is usually the case with most high-end models since they are a combination PDA/toy/status symbol. In this class, the price is more than just the functional value of the product.
