This is a very serious subject, the one we are about to start
discussing, serious indeed especially taking into consideration the
role played by modern cell phones in our lives. But first of all let's
name the subject of our conversation. And it is smartphone insurance.
Well, certainly, there are quite a few people to whom this subject may
appear to be quite funny indeed, but it isn't. We are all used to the
thought that a cell phone is just a tool, a pretty simple one, which
helps us get in touch with our friends, relatives, and business
partners. However this is not true nowadays. It used to be so last
century, but now a cell phone combines lots of other functions, and
it's very hard to say which one is the primary one. A smartphone
nowadays is a camera, it's also a personal organizer, keeping all our

confidential data.
It's a file storage as well, and we keep the photos taken by the phone
on that very phone, it's a note taker and all the notes we take are
kept there. Now imagine that all of a sudden you happen to lose the
phone. Try to calculate your expenses: starting with replacing the
device itself and ending with... Well, let's say with recovering data
you have lost. By the way, you can be almost hundred per cent sure that
you are not going to recover all the data you had there. And what if
somebody makes use of your confidential data having found your lost
phone? Well, now add all the expenses you are likely to have having
lost the phone, and it'll become quite clear to you how important it
really is to have insurance for your smartphone.
