Palm m130

Palm m130 Overview

Palm m130

The Palm m130 is now a granddaddy among PDAs. It's been around for a while and it may not be around for a lot longer. Nonetheless, it's still quite adequate for anyone with very basic needs. If you just want to stay organized and you don't need any fancy bells and whistles, then the Palm m130 is a model for you to consider.

The Palm m130 has a color screen and a rechargeable battery. Both of these features are now standard for almost any PDA on the market. It comes with 8 MB of memory and an expansion card slot (expansion card costs extra). Frankly, if you're just using the m130 to organize your life, then 8 MB of memory is probably plenty.

Palm m130 Ratings

All of the ratings of the Palm m130 are above average. This includes professional reviews as well as reviews by people who actually own an m130. Of 577 votes on one web site, 93% recommended the Palm m130. That's a very high recommendation.

Professional Ratings: 6.9 out of 10 (3 reviews)

User Ratings: 8 out of 10 (151 reviews)

Of the few complaints from Palm m130 owners, the primary seems to be poor customer support. But this was from a small minority. A small screen and low screen resolution was an issue brought up in professional reviews. But in this respect, the m130 isn't really any different than other low-end model Palms.
