The Toshiba e755 is Toshiba's high-end. But it isn't really noticeably
different from the e750. The e755 includes PhotoBase and the e750 doesn't. Some
people have loved the previous Toshiba Pocket PCs, and some people have hated
them. You can probably expect the same with the e755.
The Toshiba e755 has 64 MB of RAM, plus 32 MB of Flash memory. The color
display is 240 X 320 pixels. It has integrated wireless 802.11. You can use the
e755 to play MP3 files and video. Overall, the software bundle is pretty decent.
The Toshiba e755 has gotten somewhat average reviews so far, but there's still
very little feedback out there. However, since the e755 is basically the same as
the e750, you can probably base any buying decisions on the
e750 ratings.
Professional Ratings: 7.5 out of 10 (2 review)
User Ratings: 5 out of 10 (9 reviews)
Because the e755 is still pretty new on the market, it's difficult to say if
it has any serious problems. But several users have complained of various
breakdowns with their units. The Wi-Fi, in particular, may not be reliable.
And as with some other Toshiba products, some users of the e755 have complained
of poor customer support.
